Flt LT Ralph Appleby RAFAC

Flt Lt Appleby assumed command of 1334 Manningtree Squadron ATC in January 2023. He is no stranger to 1334 as he started as a cadet in 1972 . Returning as a Civilian Instructor in 1982 and obtaining his commission in 1997 before being swiftly moved to 2470 Sudbury Squadron ATC,  Where he was OC for 20 years. Apart from his experience of command he also brings his shooting, radio Duke of Edinburgh's award and adventure training qualifications with him. This strengthens the shooting side and fills in most of the gaps that had existed at 1334.
