Cross Country Medals!

This morning 8 cadets from the squadron braved the near freezing temperatures of Thetford rugby club to take part in the Norfolk and Suffolk Wing Cross Country competition.

The course was a cross a variety of terrain, with frost and cold winds thrown into the mix. Cdt Caitlin Barham done an extremely impressive 2.4km run despite having never done cross country before! Cdt Cpls Charlotte Main and Emily Nash both ran the senior girls 5km, with great enthusiasm and energy, smiling the whole way round.,

The senior Boys (Cdt Sgt Asher Heddell, Cdt Cpls Oliver Burch and Robert Girling and Cdts Alexander McCreadie and James Carver-Hardy) put in the performance of the day for Manningtree, managing to come in 3rd place overall for the youth 5km race.  Everyone is extremely proud of them all and happy to have more medals coming back to Manningtree!!
